Well, thanks to this new discovery, there’s good news for me and bad news for me.
Good News: More preparation time for exams, and I get to hang out with friends some more.
Bad News: It turns out I’m NOT quite done with school yet, contrary to popular belief in earlier posts.
Just to clear it up with you four or five readers, with only one reader who’s relatively avid, while the rest come and go.
Just assuming, though. Chances are, nobody really gives a darn, save for RL friends who read this.
Woke up, got out of bed reluctantly. It’s 9:30, we usually have preparations for going to Bunker V started at this time. Maybe parents are sleeping in a lot more than I imagined.
My sleeping habits have gone to hell since work. Don’t get me wrong. I’m loving this job. It’s just the time frame between school and work is virtually nil, and I usually take five minutes at home for quick updates, a snack, and then book it. On Tuesdays and Thursdays, I take my uniform with me.
You see, I work at my Sifu’s office, doing the labour that no one else with any sense of sanity would do without any kind of damage. In other words: repetitive tasks that could turn someone into an insane vegetable. Filling letters over and over, repetitive data entry, that sort of thing.
There are two things that prevent me from going insane and shooting up the office sometime in five years with no change… PFF… As if I’d go on any kind of shooting. It’s been done too much around North America that it’s become bloody unoriginal.
I’m sadistic, but I have standards.
Anyway, the first thing is that I already have mental problems. Asperger’s Syndrome- a form of autism. I’m not exactly that extreme of an autism-ridden guy. My parents just raised me correctly. I can socialise any time I want to… It’s just I usually don’t want to.
Second thing is I’m allowed to have my music with me.
Oh wait, there’s a third thing: I’m usually alone in the office I work in, and I like it there.
Back to the ultimate topic: At Sifu’s office, I work there on every day of the week. On Tuesdays and Thursdays, I don’t go home after work. I go to the class.
It’s usually empty, so I’m free to try things I wouldn’t normally try with people around. IE. punching back, random stupid stunts, attempts at pull-ups (Can’t do one worth a damn, yet I’ve got strong punches.) Tip-ups, hand-stands (can’t do it without a wall, mind you. Baby steps, you know.) Stretches, forms, Wooden Dummy, that sort of thing.
Now that I’m done with the exam, I don’t really have to worry about the form that we had to learn for it.
… Ah crap, I forgot to keep my back straight when I did my… Nevermind. I just tried the different poses where it was required. I’m good.
I occasionally want to physically challenge myself at school. It’s really no fun when no one else really cares. At least “J” is awesome enough to spar with me on occasion. Those sparring sessions are fun.
Anyway, I’ll go take a shower and get on with my day. I’ve got writing to do.
…
Cleaned the house. Vaccum, garbage removal, mowing lawn- Wait, no.
Couldn’t find the cable I use to power the lawn mower, so I attempted doing it with hedge clippers.
On the plus side, I trimmed hedges and long grass. On the down-side, the lawn looks half-assed a little.
Just the way I like it.
